Happy Returns

Hi All, Shooter performed for an old friend, Frank MacManus at his 70th birthday party last Saturday. In 1964, when in his first band, "Ian & The Rebels", Shooter lead guitarist Keith performed at Franks 21st birthday party. Sharing the bill with Shooter on Saturday night was a re-formed "Ian & The Rebels" featuring four original members; Ian Gregson - vocals; Keith Hubbard - lead guitar, Roy Smith - rhythm guitar and Derek Brough - bass guitar, all helped out by Shooter sticks man Bob Dickenson on drums. (Original drummer Chris Kenny was away on holiday in Australia) The dance floor was full, just like back in 64, a very nostalgic evening for Keith.
