Rockin' at The Y.P.C. Returns

Hi All, Rockin' at The Y.P.C (The Re-Union For The Teenagers Of The 60's) returns to Ormskirk Civic Hall, Friday 11Th May 2012.
After the success of the first event in October last year, the demand for a second show has been so great that a date has been arranged for the follow up.
Featuring; Shooter & friends; Pip Saffer, original lead vocalist from our Legend of The 60s show; Jimmy Fox who was lead guitarist and vocalist with Ormskirk's own Adam & The Sinners then The Bluechips; the success of the first show; Ian Gregson, who together with Shooter's Keith Hubbard, was a member of Ian & The Rebels one of the resident bands at The Y.P.C. and introducing new band Route 66, the night promises to be every bit as good if not better than the first show.
Ormskirk Young Peoples Club; affectionately known as The Y. P. C. was situated in Burscough Street Ormskirk and was a major venue in the heady days of Mersey Beat. Playing host the top Liverpool groups as well as local bands such as Adam & The Sinners, The Bluechips and Ian & The Rebels, of which Shooter guitarist Keith Hubbard was a member, The Y.P.C. was a haven for the youth of the area. Liverpool impresario Dave Forshaw was the supplier of what was a tremendous line up of bands of the day.
The Y.P.C; which was situated in Burscough Street, shared the fate of the original Cavern Club and is now a car park.
Rockin' at The Y.P.C. returns by public demand to relive the atmosphere of this vibrant club.
