Shooter have been on their travels with gigs at Tonge Ward Labour Club Bolton, The British Legion Club Flint, Lyons Holiday Park Rhyl and on Friday night MerseyCats presented a package show at the Stubshaw Cross Labour Club in Ashton In Makefield in aid of the Children's Hospice: Derian House Charity, what a fantastic night Dave Ferguson open with his band 'The Bumblies', rhythm 'n blues through and through, Tempest gave us a good set of 60s and 70s songs, Ricky Gleason The Topspots including Keith as a guests guitarist had a great time, the audience shouting for more and then Shooter rocked the socks of 'em. MerseyCats and the organizers thanked Keith Mike and Jeff from Shooter for the loan of their equipment also Dave Freguson who compered the evening brilliantly. What a good cause, all the performing artists gave their services free and what a great turnout, a big thanks to all involved. Saturday was a gig at Pendleton British Legion club In Salford and what a surprises standing in as resident keyboards player for his wife who recently had a baby boy , Jonathon, was; Tony Baker from the Dakotas, Tony has performed in our Legend Of The 60s show on a number of occasions, nice to see him, great night.
This week will see Shooter playing gigs in Upholland on Saturday 22nd, then our first appearance at The Cavern Club in Liverpool then Cheadle on Friday, Liverpool on Saturday and to end the month on Sunday they have an appearance at the Hard Days Night Hotel in Liverpool as part of the Mathew Street Festival. I'll let you know how they get on.
