Gigs and Things

Hi all, after gigs at The Top Club in Little Hulton, Manchester, another great night, a further Mike and Keith 50s & 60s un-plugged session at Lings on Kings Restaurant in Southport and a fabulous night at Marton Mere Holiday Park, Blackpool, Shooter are looking forward to this coming Saturday's return to Manchester for their annual appearance at Flixton Ex-Servicemens Club. The Flixton club is well set out with a good stage and a warm welcome, review in our next blog.
Mike & Keith have another un-plugged session booked at Lings this Friday, nice restaurant this , good Peking style fare with a fun atmosphere.
Ricky Gleason and The Topspot are still in rehearsal at the studio and the bands appearances at MerseyCats in Liverpool have been well received as shown in the following comments from the MerseyCat web site;

MerseyCats this week: Another full house with thirteen (Yes thirteen) bands vying for a spot in the show. the joint was packed. Welcome back to Ricky Gleason & the Topspots after 40 years who gave a performance like they had never been away. Kay tells me it was a record take at the gate.

MerseyCats this week: ....another full house with once again more bands than we could fit in......Ricky Gleason and the Topspots featured for the second time and boy can they play.
Back to Shooter, the bands Cd's are now available via email, The Sounds Of The 60s and A Whole lot of Rock 'n' Roll.
