Oh! The Rain, we hate the RAIN!

Saturdays gig was in Blackpool at The Brun Grove WMC. Setting out in fair weather we were resigned to an awkward lift, up a double flight fire escape, at least it was dry. After an easy journey through Preston we came into Blackpool, what was that on the windscreen, rain! dry all day, it couldn't wait another half hour could it. Arriving a further mile down the road, at the club, it was lashing down, we had to get the gear in and we were going to look like drowned rats. Undaunted we carried the equipment up the fire escape and set up, steam rising of our soaked clothing, never mind eh, oh! the rain, we hate the RAIN!
Nice club, Brun Grove, again the regular once yearly visit went well, see you next year.
The new Cd tracks are now completed and decisions have to be made on the compilation and design. A full review will be given in the next Blog.
