Halloween and Other Frights

Hi, Our visit to The Highfield Road Social Club in Blackpool on Friday last, Halloween night, was eventful to say the least. On arrival we were really impressed by the turn out of the members, all decked out in the ghastliest of array of costumes imaginable, We had Freddie Kruger, Dracula, Scream, numerous witches, warlocks, and monsters to frightening to mention, the crowd were up for a good night, the place was buzzing. Performing the same usual sets, with a few topical ad libs thrown in, Shooter enjoyed another great gig, going home with a promise from the entertainments secretary of a re-book sometime early in the new year to look forward to.
Saturday 1st November saw Shooter paying a return visit to The Excelsior Club in Sale Grt. Manchester, a friendly little club this, nice people, a great pint of Guinness, laid back and a joy to work at.
Regarding Shooter's 25th anniversary CD, the recording tracks have now all been completed and Keith has started to produce the master mixes, everything is looking good for an early December release. Watch this space.

Saw the guys at the Haloween Bash in Blackpool and then found their website. Not seen them for a while, but great to see the band is still on the road after all these years!!! Two new faces in the line-up but founder member, Keith, is still up there - keepin' it live and real. Rock On guys - just like the old days
